摘要
The synthesis of zeolite type NaA from kaolinite by conventional alkaline activation was investigated. As mentioned in literature, the recommended molar composition for NaA zeolite synthesis was Na2O/Al2O3 ratio of 1-2 and SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of 1-2, but in this work, NaA zeolite was synthesised with new molar compositions. In this research, NaA zeolite was synthesised via hydrothermal method. Also, the effects of reaction time and temperature on morphology and crystalline of the synthesised zeolites were investigated. The final products were characterised by X-ray diffraction, FTIR, DTA TGA techniques and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). It is found that the reaction time has a great effect on the crystalline of the synthesised zeolites.
