摘要
PrFe11-xCoxTiC alloys (x <= 3) with ThMn12-type structure were synthesized by induction melting and subsequent carbonation. The anisotropy constants and the anisotropy field were calculated from the transverse magnetization isotherms, taking into account a statistical distribution of the easy magnetization axis with the orientation direction of the samples. The influence of carbonation and of Co substitution for Fe on the magnetocrystalline anisotropy of studied alloys is analyzed according to the crystalline field theory. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V.
