摘要
Working parents of children with a disability or a chronic condition face exceptional difficulties caring for the child and holding a job. We explore how working parents cope with work-life challenges when they face this situation. We carried out 27 in-depth interviews in New Jersey with working parents of children with a chronic condition to understand the strategies families adopt to enhance work-life balance in these extraordinary circumstances, and to understand the role of workplace resources in facilitating these strategies.
