摘要
With the rapid economic growth and the construction of numerous buildings and infrastructures, regional center cities in seismic zone of China are more vulnerable to earthquake. In the event of a large earthquake, emergency operation is proved to be effective in disaster relief. This paper presents a case study on shortcomings of the existing earthquake emergency management system in Xiamen City. Based on the observation, some suggestions to improve the performance of earthquake emergency management system in regional center cities are promoted.
