摘要：

The interaction of various solid calcium and magnesium phosphates with di- and trivalent metal ions in solution is considered. The acid and neutral phosphates enter into a chemical reaction with Mn+ ions. Calcium hydroxylapatite sorbs the ions by an ion-exchange mechanism. The main factors that govern the sorption mechanism and sorption capacity are revealed, and the ion-exchange and chemical activities of the phosphates are discussed from a practical standpoint.
