摘要
In an outdoor experiment two artificial plant communities (grass/clover mixture and wildflower meadow) were supplemented with artificial UV-B. The radiation was not filtered and measured so that the biologically effective radiation could not be calculated according to plant weighting functions. The biological performance of plants was evaluated regularily and sensitive species could be identified. In general, the Fabaceae showed to be very sensitive whereas the Oxeye-daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare, Asteraceae) seemed to tolerate even high levels of UV-B. The assessment of species-covering within the grass clover-mixture revealed a clear shift in competition. Grass species became dominant on plots receiving high levels of UV-B whereas Trifolium repens completely disappeared from these.
