Magnetic properties of Mn1-xZnxFe2O4 ferrite nanoparticles prepared by using Co-precipitation

摘要
Mn1-xZnxFe2O4 (x = 0, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7) ferrite nanoparticles have been prepared by using a chemical co-precipitation method. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) measurements were utilized to study the impacts of Zn substitution on the particle size and the magnetic properties. The particles have a spinel structure and form on a nanometer scale. The Curie temperature T-C, the blocking temperature T-B, the coercivity H-C and the particle size decrease with increasing Zn substitution.
