摘要
Utilization of electricity loads and the application of various power electronic equipment has experienced very rapid growth last years. Therefore, the power quality pollution is becoming a serious problem. This paper introduces a design and implementation of virtual instrument tool for real-time online monitoring of power quality using LabVIEW. Process of measuring an electrical or physical phenomenon in DAQ system is using NI cDAQ-9174 that consist of NI 9225 and NI9227 for voltage and current sensors, respectively. The system calculates and displays the waveform of three-phase current and voltage, frequency, power factor, the root mean square (RMS) value, and the total harmonic distortion (THD). The web based monitoring system function has been designed and integrated into the system that can be used to monitor electricity consumption on the customer's side. The experimental results show that the proposed power quality monitoring system can be implemented well and has an average error of 0.61%. The system can also be monitored via a web browser; https://monitoringpqpnj.com/lab2/. Different type of load (resistive, inductive, combination of R&L) are measured every second in 3 hours for the whole weekdays. The results show that the system voltage is -5.47% and +0.5% from nominal and the active power in each phase is not evenly distributed.
