摘要
For the last decade, ISIJ organized several collaborative committees in the field of ironmaking such as "Transport phenomena of four fluids", "Enhanced processing technology in lower part of BF", "Advanced approach to intelligent agglomeration", and so on. From 1999, new research project for innovative ironmaking reaction has started to aim at halving energy consumption and load for environment of BF by the promotion of Science and Technology Agency of Japan. Advanced research results of those collaboration were introduced and the significance of basic research has been discussed.
