摘要
Resonant photoemission experiments around the 3d and 4d thresholds are presented for Pr and Nd metal. The behaviors at the two thresholds are different, in that the data at the 4d edge show a prethreshold enhancement. In addition to the strong enhancement of the f(1) and f(2) final state structure: for Pr (f(2) initial state) and Nd (f(3) initial state) metals, respectively, a weak f(2)(Pr) and f(3) (Nd) final state structure is observed, starting at E-F.
