Adsorption studies of benzenesulfonic acid; 3,3 ' ,3 " -phosphinidynetris-, trisodium salt (TPPTS); and di-(mu -tertiobutylthiolato) dicarbonyl, bis(benzenesulfonic acid, 3,3 ' ,3 " -phosphinidynetris-, trisodium salt) dirhodium ([Rh(mu -(SBu)-Bu-t)(CO)(TPPTS)](2)) from aqueous solutions on four different silica samples were carried out at 25 degreesC. The isotherms obtained were correlated by several models, among which Fowler's one was found to be the most satisfactory. The: solubilities of TPPTS and [Rh(mu -(SBu)-Bu-t)(CO)(TPPTS)](2) in water at four temperatures in the range (25-80) degreesC were also studied.
