PRESENTING THREE MODELS FOR ICT INTEGRATION INTO THE SCHOOL CURRICULUM, ACCORDING TO THE NATIOINAL CURRICULUM DOCUMENT OF IRAN

摘要
In this work, three models are introduced to integrate ICT (Information and communication technology) into the school curriculums, based on the national curriculum document (NCD) of Islamic Republic of Iran. All information for designing these models was gathered through comparative studies, content analysis of NCD and interview with experts of curriculum and information and communication technology areas. In the two first models, ICT is only considered as a tool to improve and strengthen the teaching -learning process. But, in the third model, in addition to previous role of ICT, creation core competencies in the five elements: intellectual, faith, morality, practices, and science is considered, also. Authors believe the last model is the perfect for our educational system.
