摘要
Wind power plants must comply with current harmonic injection limits, defined in the grid codes. Source of harmonic currents may however be also located within electric grid itself and not inside a wind farm. It may be of a crucial importance to determine the harmonic source location. A novel method for harmonic currents flow direction determination is proposed in this paper, which is based solely on their magnitude measurement. Practical tests on two wind farms confirm the effectiveness of this method.
