摘要：

In the title compound, [CuBr2(C5H6N2)(4)], the Cu-II cation is located on a crystallographic centre of symmetry and coordinated by four N atoms from four 1-vinylimidazole ligands and two trans coordinated Br- anions in a distorted octahedral geometry. In the crystal structure, intra- and intermolecular C-H center dot center dot center dot Br hydrogen bonds form three-dimensional hydrogen-bond networks which stabilize the structure.
