Ultra-wideband, long distance WDM demonstration of 1Tbit/s (50x20Gbit/s), 600km transmission using 1550 and 1580nm wavelength bands

摘要
Long-distance terabit wavelength division multiplexing: transmission using two wavelength bands simultaneously is reported. 20 channels in the 1550 nm band and 30 channels in the 1580 nm band, all carrying 20 Gbit/s, are transmitted over 600 km of singlemode fibre.
