摘要
The linear black-box modeling of a combustion engine is described. As the plant is unstable and the variance of the disturbing noise in the system output is high, standard LS-identification yields insufficient results. Various other well established identification methods such as extended least squares, least squares with data filtering, least squares with order reduction in the frequency domain, weighting sequence estimation, instrumental variable method and correlation analysis with least squares estimation are discussed for a two input single output system. The applicability of these methods for identification of combustion engines is discussed and model validation plots are presented.
