摘要
Reflection is important for learners because it helps them develop critical thinking skills, thereby enhancing their learning performance. A web based learning system was developed to investigate whether the use of different types of prompts and peer assessments would help learners to improve their reflection levels. One hundred and fifty seven students from the university were involved. The students were randomly selected to carry out one of fourteen scenarios using the different levels of reflection. The results revealed that the main factor affecting reflection level is high level prompt followed by high quality peer observation that has a moderating effect on students' reflection levels. However, peer feedback has no significant influence on reflection levels.
