摘要
We consider a mixed spin Ising model on a rectangular or cubic lattice, with alternating rows/layers of S=1/2 and S=1 spins and, in general, three coupling constants. An exact solution, for a special case, shows ferrimagnetic behavior and a compensation point where the sublattice magnetizations are equal. The general case is studied via Monte Carlo simulations, and the conditions for the existence and location of the compensation point are determined.
