摘要:
Discrete Cosine transform (DCT) is widely used in image and speech coding and decoding due to it's perfect performance. This paper presents a set of fast algorithm for DCT through Discrete Hartley Transform (DHT). Compared with many other fast algorithm, these methods are numerically stable, real and need no complex computation. This algorithm is not restricted to length_2n and can be easily applied to MP3 decoding also it is suitable to other applications where DCT is needed Theory analysis and practice show it can improve MP3 decoding efficiency greatly.
