摘要
The aim of this essay is to examine the arguments put forward by John Rawls to imprint validity and feasibility to democracy by allocating to it, liberal ethical criteria. Thereby, my purpose is to analyze the condition of possibility of his normative theory to legitimate democratic governability under principles of Justice. My conclusion is that political liberalism, as Rawls conceives it, suffers from significant deficits in providing capability to democratic institutions as they work today.
