摘要
With the illumination intensity and temperature changing, the output characteristics of photovoltaic (PV) system can be greatly verified, and the output voltage-current characteristic curve of photovoltaic cells could possess multiple peak values. For this case, the conventional maximum power point tracking (MPPT) method is no longer suitable for locating the real maximal power point. In order to realize good tracking performance of PV system, an algorithm with global tracking ability and multi peak optimization is put forward for solving multimodal optimization problems under partial shading in this paper. By making use of the uniform model of PV system, the feasibility of the proposed algorithm under uneven illumination conditions is verified based on MATLAB/Simulink. The simulation results show that the proposed method can quickly track the real MMP with high accuracy.
