摘要
Control of parallel execution of sub-queries (derived from one query) in concurrent way and supported by the distributed system is as main topic presented on this paper. To support parallel execution in effective way, there is IQMS (Integrated Query Management System), running on top of DBMS, which has special functions : generate sub-queries (query decomposition), query optimization, define the location of execution (query allocation), transaction inspection, and agent coordinator (integrate all the result of sub-queries, and coordinate all sites involved). There are 2 main reasons of IQMS : Maximum parallel processing, and minimum transfer of raw data. IQMS developped still has limited capability, only for retrieval operation, and running for hybrid fragmented non-replicated data). Beside, each site actual load involved in the distributed system is not considered in query allocation.
