The boundary effect in d-wave superconductors

摘要：

We present a theory for the surface effect in d-wave superconductors. The quasiparticles in a superconductor occupying a half-space are described by the Bogoliubov-de Gennes equation. The asymptotic forms of the wave functions of the quasiparticles at large distances from the surface are discussed. This is the basic problem in solving the equation. We also review our recent results on the {100}- and {110}-surface effects in d-wave superconductors.
