摘要：
Adventitial cystic disease is a rare disorder characterized by mucin-containing cysts of the adventitial tissue. The condition has a predilection for the popliteal artery. Men are predominantly affected, usually around the fourth decade. We report of a case of recurrent adventitial cystic disease and the possibilities of modern cross-sectional imaging. In particular we discuss the advantages of magnetic resonance imaging and magnetic resonance angiography for the diagnosis of this condition. Furthermore, the etiology a nd the possibilities of surgical treatment are illustrated.
