摘要
As formerly developed in the US Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP), the Long Term Evolution (LTE) named 3.9G system was considered as an evolution of the GSM cellular nets. It was planned that this cellular technology would offer a high-data rate, wide mobility and better QoS for broadband mobile applications. For that, it will be essential to optimize downlink resource allocation strategies to system users. This paper studies the performance of three downlink scheduling algorithms for LTE downlink systems known as: RR (Round Robin), MaxSNR (Maximum Signal to Noise Ratio) and PF (Proportional Fair). Evaluation is developed based on fairness and throughput constraints. As Max SNR's approach looks for maximizing system throughput, the Round Robin and Proportional algorithms technique may attempt to satisfy the fairness between the users.
