Canine and feline molecular genetic diseases -: 4.: Clinical genetic aspects of haemostatic, immunodeficiency, neurological and muscular diseases

The revealed molecular genetic basis and clinical genetic features of inherited diseases of the haemostasis, the immune, nervous and muscular system in canine and feline species are reviewed. Haemolytic anaemia VII and VIII, haemophilia A and B, other coagulophathies, von Willebrand disease, deficiency of C3 complement, leucocyte adhesion deficiency, severe combined immunodeficiency, malignant hyperthermia syndrome, Duchenne-Becker muscular dystrophy, myoclonia (tremor), dystrophia myotonica, spinal muscular atrophy and narcolepsy of dogs and cats are demonstrated.
