摘要
A dual rating shunt reactor of air-gapped iron-core type has been developed. One unit of this reactor can he used for both 50% and 100% rated capacities. In developing the reactor, the Finite Element Method was used for analyzing the flux distribution. The paper describes the principle of the dual rating shunt reactor and reports the results of magnetic field analysis and the test results of the shunt reactors.
