摘要：

The study presents a first web accessibility diagnosis carried out in 2012 on a sample of pages from the Argentine public university space. The evaluation establishes the compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, taking into account the methodological recommendations from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The results suggest that the web accessibility barriers encountered are serious for the most part (level A). The most frequent are related to markup language syntax, content presentation, non-text content and visual readability of text. Likewise it is shown that by addressing these barriers, certain groups of people could benefit specifically.
