摘要
Increasing complexity of many embedded systems functioning in congestion situations cause a high demand for tools to analyze and predict their performance in various stages of their design, development and usage. Mean value analysis (MVA) is an elegant tool that allows us to analyze queueing systems without computing any joint probability distribution. It provides an alternative for obtaining mean values for queue length and waiting time. In this paper, we outline the mean value analysis to evaluate expected waiting time of some worth mentioning unreliable server queueing models. The sensitivity analysis is also carried out to explore the effect of different parameters on the waiting time.
