Electrical and magnetic properties of water-soluble conducting polyaniline derivatives

摘要
The electrical and magnetic properties of water-soluble conducting copolymer of poly(aniline-co-o-aminobenzenesulfonic acid) (PAOABSA) were measured as a function of the sulfonated degree defined as sulfur to nitrogen ratio (S/N). All the results obtained in this article indicate that the delocalization extent of PAOABSA copolymers decreases with an increase in the sulfonated degree caused by the reduction in the extent of conjugation of the copolymers resulting from the introduction of the -SO3- group into the polymer chain.
