摘要
Knowledge is sometimes regarded as the most important tool to compete at the market and it becomes more and more important for companies to rind strategies for managing knowledge. Knowledge Management can be described as a strategy to transform intangible knowledge into tangible knowledge, to make it possible to store, distribute and share within the organization. The two main strategies for practicing Knowledge Management are codification and personalization. Codification refers to the use of advanced information technology and personalization refers to organization development. In this paper I discuss Knowledge Management, or KM, from the perspective of codification and personalization and pinpoint some barriers to practice Knowledge Management in small companies.
