A review of the genus Trigonoderus Westwood (Hymenoptera: Pteromalidae) from oriental region with the description of a new species from Southern Western Ghats, India

Genus Trigonoderus Westwood (Hymenoptera: Pteromalidae) is reviewed from the Oriental region leading to the discovery of a new species T. periyarensis sp. nov. from Southern Western Ghats, India. The new species is described, illustrated and compared with congeneric and a comprehensive review and key to the Oriental species of Trigonoderus are also provided.
