摘要
This paper purposed to show the design, simulation and realization of a bandpass filter using stepped impedance resonators for a 2.4 GHz communication system. The rectangular shape was used to design the proposed bandpass filter. Furthermore, the stepped impedance resonators with some modification and adjustment have been used to get a good response of insertion loss, return loss and bandwidth. The roger 5880, with a thickness of 0.787 mm and a dielectric constant of 2.2, was used for simulation and realization. As a result, the measured optimum response for return loss is -30.43 dB, insertion loss is -1.75 dB, and the bandwidth is 120 MHz.
