摘要
The investigation of the effect of absorbed nitrogen on the microstructure and core loss property of non-oriented electrical steel was discussed. Some of the hot rolled strips were processed to produce coils of non-oriented electrical steel by pickling, cold rolling, decarburization and annealing of coils. Decarburization was carried out at 850°C in a furnace with an atmosphere comprising N2+H2. The nitrogen content in hot rolled strips was ∼50 ppm while the nitrogen content in the annealed coils was high and varied between 140 to 460 ppm. It was shown that the absorption of nitrogen had taken place during decarburization of cold rolled coils of non-orineted electrical steel.
