摘要
The relationship between phosphorus grain boundary concentration and portion of intergranular fracture in two low alloy steels with different phosphorus contents was investigated. Phosphorus, molybdenum, vanadium, chromium, and carbon grain boundary concentrations were determined by standard method of Auger electron spectroscopy. Scanning electron microscopy was used to determine the portion of intergranular fracture. The positive correlation between the phosphorus grain boundary concentration and the portion of intergranular fracture was confirmed. For the investigated steels positive correlation between phosphorus bulk and grain boundary concentrations as well as between phosphorus and molybdenum (vanadium) grain boundary concentrations were stated.
