摘要
This paper offers a study of individual and colective strategies of creating, showing, evoking and preserving memory used by the Celtiberian and vaccean comunities between the 2nd century B.C. and the 1st century A.D. These mnemonic mechanisms and processes included, amongst others, the uses of images and material culture as objects of memory; the ritual appropiation of ruins; the utilizacion of items and human bones as reliquies; the transmission of memories through orality; and the tense and changing relationships between remembering, forgetfulness, identities, native resistence and supervivence during the conflictive period of the Roman conquest and colonial dominance of Celtic Hispania.
