摘要
The Computer Literacy Inventory (Inventar zur Computerbildung - INCOBI) is an instrument for the assessment of computer literacy and attitudes toward the computer. It is especially suitable for applications to university students of the social sciences and the humanities. The instrument includes knowledge tests for the assessment of declarative and procedural computer knowledge, rating scales for the assessment of self-confidence in using the computer and familiarity with the computer, and a questionnaire about the actual computer use; attitudes toward the computer are measured by eight attitude scales referring to different thematic fields. Employing a sample of university students (N = 80), psychometric properties, intercorrelations, and correlations with variables of the actual computer use were estimated for all subscales. The results can be interpreted as first evidence for the reliability and validity of the INCOBI.
