摘要
The Quebec User Evaluation of Satisfaction with assistive Technology (QUEST) was developed to provide a better understanding of the factors influencing user satisfaction with assistive devices. From a set of 24 variables, the user assesses the importance he/she accords to each variable and then rates his/her degree of satisfaction. The purpose of this research paper is to introduce our European colleagues to the value of QUEST as an outcome evaluation measure of assistive technology and to present the satisfaction results obtained: from 24 users of wheelchair seating aids. A brief overview of the research and development of seating and mobility aids currently being conducted at the fcole polytechnique de Montr_al will conclude this paper.
