The digital competence of university lecturers in initial teacher training

摘要
The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of digital teaching competence (dTC) of the teachers of the Early Childhood and Primary Education degrees, at the University of the balearic Islands, given their importance as trainers of future teachers. To obtain data, the digCompEdu questionnaire, aimed at higher education, is used, incorporating some questions, with the intention of knowing how teachers promote the digital competence of their students. The sample is made up of 37 teachers and, for data analysis, non-parametric tests are used. The results indicate that teachers perceive they have an intermediate level of dTC and contribute, to a lesser extent, to the development of students' dTC. Likewise, it has been observed that dTC is associated with the use of technology as a teaching resource.
