摘要
Adsorption is a serious source of systematic error in trace gas monitoring at low concentrations. We present the results of it photoacoustic study of the adsorption of ammonia on a number of materials such as pyres, quartz, stainless steel, teflon PTFE and teflon PFA. The results are interpreted in terms of the Langmuir model, and conclusions are validated by thermal desorption experiments. pyrex shows the lowest adsorption whereas stainless steel has extremely undesirable properties.
