Periodic oscillations in second-order recursive digital filters with a saw-tooth nonlinearity

摘要
Free oscillations in digital filters whose integrator has a periodic saw-tooth nonlinearity are studied. The filter parameters are chosen within the stability triangle. Methods for establishing the domains of parameters and the attraction domains of oscillation trajectories on the state plane for an arbitrary oscillation period are developed. Results for several oscillation periods are presented.
