摘要
We investigated friction master curves of various elastomers (NR, EPDM, S-SBR) on rough granite and compare experiments to simulations. It is shown that friction strongly depends on its system parameters, including temperature. In friction theory, the viscoelastic properties play a major role to describe and thus simulate friction systems. As viscoelasticity also strongly depends on temperature, it can be assumed that the influence of velocity for friction is connected to the viscoelastic shift factors gained from dynamic mechanical analysis using the time temperature superposition. In this paper, we apply these shift factors to measured friction on wet and dry granite over a velocity range for various temperatures. The measurements are compared to simulated hysteresis and adhesion friction. Further simulation results for the real contact area and other parameters complete our investigations.
