摘要
The accuracy of approximation of surface currents at electrically large flat 2-D scatterers is investigated, in TM monostatic mode. Legendre polynomials, of order up to 250, are used as entire domain basis functions. Method of moments is used for numerical analysis with the involved integrals calculated to machine precision. Presented results show that 50 wavelength scatterer can be analyzed as a single (mesh) element.
