摘要
Pelvic exenterations are the important part of services in oncosurgical centres which can offer the seriously ill patients the relatively good results of treatment. Retrospective analysis of the results of our 27 pts treated between 1995 and 2000 by means of pelvic exenteration showed 7,4 % inhospital mortality, 59,3 % morbidity and adequate recurrence and survival rates. This surprisingly favourable outcomes should encourage the Czech surgeons in performing these difficult procedures more often.
