Microwave dielectric property of low-fired MgTiO3-based ceramics for LTCC application

摘要
Low-fired MgTiO3-based ceramics were fabricated via the conventional solid-state route, and the effects of LiF-doping on their sintering mechanism and microwave dielectric properties were investigated. Addition of 4 wt% LiF enhanced the sinterability of MgTiO3-based ceramics and effectively lowered the sintering temperatures to 975 degrees C without degradation of microwave dielectric properties. Optimum microwave dielectric properties of rho similar to 3.54 g/cm(3), epsilon(r) similar to 15.5, and Q x f similar to 34900 GHz were obtained at 975 degrees C for MgTi0.95Sn0.05O3-4wt%LiF ceramics, which are suitable for LTCC applications.
