For determining gene interaction in induction of triticale anthers, controlling Hayman's method of diallel analysis was applied by using dihaploid lines of spring hexaploid triticales and their hybrids obtained by us. Overdominance was shown to play a main role in controlling induction of triticale anthers, the character increase being determined by dominant genes. The triticale lines with the maximum number of dominant alleles controlling the character were selected. They can be used for raising the efficiency of callus and embryoid formation of triticale anthers. Heterosis effect in quantitative characters was revealed in most of hybrid combinations and a certain interrelation between the heterosis level ill individual productivity components of forms and their new formation yield was observed. As a result of the research a new material: dihaploid triticale lines. as well as hybrids from crossing these lines was developed.
