摘要
The properties of the solution to the convectively filtered Burgers' equation, a regularization of Burgers' equation with the convective velocity replaced by a nonlocal averaged velocity, are examined. It is found that the limit of solutions, as the regularizing parameter a goes to zero, does not satisfy an entropy inequality owing to the reversibility of the equation and the absence of an L-1-contraction estimate for the limit of solutions.
