A new species of Antarctoecia Ulmer, 1907 (Trichoptera: Limnephilidae) from southeastern Brazil, Antarctoecia brasiliensis sp. nov., is described and figured based on adult male and female specimens from Mantiqueira mountain range, Minas Gerais State. This is the first record of the family Limnephilidae from Brazil.
