Water-soluble polyaniline with strong photoluminescence in physiological pH environment

摘要
Polyaniline (PANI) can show strong photoluminescence (PL) and well dispersed ability in water after simple refluxing with H2SO4 (sulfonated polyaniline, SPANI). This kind of fluorescent SPANI exhibits pH sensitive PL properties, especially, the strongest PL intensity is obtained in physiological pH environment (pH 7-8). The pH sensitive PL properties of SPANI are mainly attributed to the structure transition under different pH conditions. Crown Copyright (C) 2010 Published by Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
