Synthesis and microwave, characterization of (BaO,SrO)-Al2O3-2SiO2 ceramics from the solid-state reaction process

摘要
The solid-state reaction route. was successful used to prepared (BaO,SrO)-Al2O3 -2SiO(2) ceramics. The ceramics- powder was obtained by calcining the BaCO3, SrCO3, Al2O3, and Sio(2) at 950 degreesC for 4-hrs. The powder was characterized by differential thermal analysis, thermogravimetric, X-ray diffraction. The calcined powder was pressed, sintered at 1040degreesC for 4-hrs, and then the sintered samples were studied with-X-ray diffraction patterns, thermal mechanical analyzer, and microwave properties measurement.
